Year of the Dragon
Every Chinese new year is connected to one of the twelve animals of buddha. This year: 2024 is the year of the dragon. It’s the year of people born in 1988, 2000 and 2012 and 2024. Here is a small story about the history of those animals. Buddha celebrated his birthday and invited all animals to his birthday, only eleven animals showed up sadly. So Buddha was not amused, but wanted to thank the eleven animals. He gave them all a year in the Chinese years. Buddha needed a twelved animal and came up with the dragon, this is why the dragon is the only mythical creature.
Dragon symbolizes succes, honor and power. Dragons inspire and empower people when needed.
